Vascular Disease Awareness Month: Know the Signs

September 1st, 2026

September is Vascular Disease Awareness Month, reminder to pay attention to your vascular health. Your blood vessels play an important role in carrying blood through the body and problems with circulation can affect your heart, legs, brain, and overall health.

Some signs of vascular disease can include leg pain or cramping when walking, swelling, numbness, cold feet, or changes in skin color.

If something doesn't feel right, don't ignore it. Talking with one of CVAM's providers can help identify potential problems and determine the best next steps!

This month, take a moment to learn about your vascular health and know the signs. CVAM is here to help keep your heart and vascular health moving in the right direction.
