Prior to her work at CVAM, Tonya Wolfe spent 18 years in the Dermatology field where her love of quality patient care and teaching started.
Four and a half years ago, Tonya started at CVAM as a back office Medical Assistant (MA), then was quickly promoted to Lead MA. After additional training and certification, she became a cardiovascular technician (CVT); which is a health professional who assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac (heart) and peripheral vascular (blood vessel) ailments. They interpret ECGs while performing treadmill stress testing, as well as other cardiac testing to help aide in the detection of heart disease, vascular issues, and heart arrhythmias. Ultimately, in May of 2019, she became our Clinical Supervisor. In her current role, she helps maintain the workflow in all clinical aspects of the office by ensuring quality patient care is delivered to every patient. Her love of teaching remains apparent as Tonya encourages growth by sharing her knowledge with all employees.
Tonya is a native Arizonian and is a mother of three adult girls. When not at work you will find her indulging in ice cream and exploring the great outdoors as “In every walk with nature, one receives far more than he seeks.” Tonya lives life by embracing her journey, one moment at a time.
