What medications are commonly used in the anticoagulation clinic?

There are many medications that may be used by our patients to manage their conditions. The most common medication prescribed in our facility include:

Medication changes

There are times when patients may be on a certain pharmaceutical that is causing unwanted side effects. No two medications are the same, and each medication affects others differently. We encourage our patients who are currently unhappy with their medication management to contact our practice for an evaluation and to discuss possible alternatives that may better suit their lifestyle. We do our best to manage medications in a way that reduces the side effects and helps patients feel their best while maintaining their heart health.   1. I’m a long time user of warfarin because I am afflicted with the Leiden factor. We will be wintering in Mesa and I need an anti-coagulation unit down here to check my INR periodically.
