Amy Argue, MSN, FNP-C, AACC, CHFN
Nurse Practitioner
Amy Argue graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She later received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Grand Canyon University in 2013.
Prior to joining CVAM in 2014, Amy worked as a RN at Banner Heart Hospital in both the cardiac catheterization laboratory (Cath Lab), and the cardiac intensive care unit (CVICU). She served as a team leader in these departments and precepted new nurses to pass on her devotion to caring for cardiovascular patients. Her excitement centers around helping patients to understand their health conditions and improving patient experiences in the health care setting.
Amy Argue is licensed by the State of Arizona as both a Registered Nurse and a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses.
In her personal time, Amy enjoys camping, hiking with her husband and dog, cycling, doting after her plant collection, and quilting.
