Nurse Practitioner

Amy Argue, MSN, FNP-C, AACC was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a minor in Human Resources Management.  She went on to receive her Masters Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2013. That same year, Amy also received national certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in family practice.

Prior to joining the team at CVAM, Amy was a Registered Nurse at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa for 8 years. She gained a great deal of cardiovascular experience and knowledge while working in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) and the cardiac cath lab. She achieved certifications in critical care (CCRN), cardiac surgery (CSC), and cardiac medicine (CMC) from the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Arizona Nurse’s Association, and Preventative Cardiovascular Nurses Association. She has received certification as an Associate of the American College of Cardiology.

Amy's hobbies include running, quilting, traveling, and hiking with her dog.
